Growing globalization and increasing competition in the automotive industry make it increasingly important for companies to cooperate with business partners who are characterized by specialist expertise.

The ServiceXpert Gesellschaft für Service-Informationssystemes mbH is an established automotive service provider and acts as a diagnostic competence partner for various OEMs and Tier1 suppliers with several years of experience, which the ServiceXpert team has built up and developed in the following subjects:

  • Diagnostic development and requirements engineering at UDS protocol level
  • Automated diagnostic protocol tests (ECU test stand alone)
  • Automated system diagnostic test (testing in a system network)
  • Network management conformance tests (NMCT)
  • Continuous testing and debugging support in close cooperation with the software development teams

Through close cooperation with well-known OEMs and their suppliers, ServiceXpert engineers are familiar with the specific processes. Therefore, the ServiceXpert team has been able to demonstrate its competence at the diagnostic interface between OEM and supplier many times and now acts as a "Trusted System Partner" for the above-mentioned priorities.

Since the diagnostic implementation commonly takes place towards the end of development, there are naturally often bottlenecks in delivery dates and subsequent processes at the OEM. ServiceXpert was able to provide multiple support with its established, dynamic processes and distinctive diagnostic know-how and, by flexibly adjusting the processes to project situations, was able to provide suitable solutions with good results for OEM and Tier 1.

At the beginning of a project, ServiceXpert usually starts with an actual state analysis of an initial diagnostic test and a face-to-face meeting or workshop. Based on the initial results, a pool of various options can be offered to the customer at short notice, which ServiceXpert can also implement at short notice if desired. This approach takes into account the time pressure that naturally prevails in diagnostic implementation projects.

ServiceXpert works with the established tools of E / E development - classic, AUTOSAR-based development - and has sufficient own software licenses and can therefore provide flexible services for different diagnostic protocols such as UDS, KWP, OBD or J1939. This flexibility contributes to the added value for the projects, which results in an improvement in the maturity of the diagnostic implementation (application or boot loader) and the quality of the overall result.
