Digitising pricing and optimising sales
Determine prices efficiently and in a timely manner. Digitise and sustainably convert processes so that classic paper catalogues are a thing of the past.
That was the task that ServiceXpert took on on behalf of AVANT TECNO Deutschland GmbH. AVANT produces more than 45,000 multifunctional loaders and attachments annually at its plant in Ylöjärvi, Finland, and sells them worldwide. In order to support dealers and customers in a user-friendly way with state-of-the-art technology for price calculation, the German sales company AVANT TECNO Deutschland turned to the development service provider ServiceXpert. In close cooperation with the customer, the engineers with more than 20 years of experience in planning, realisation and operation of technical information systems have developed a pricing module for all AVANT machines, spare components and add-on devices.
The AVANT price administrators in Germany can use the price module to create an up-to-date, digital price catalogue. The price specifications from the Finnish headquarters are recalculated and fixed in the price module for the German market. The result of the computer-aided and therefore very efficient and error-free recalculation is the price catalogue for the respective year as well as the creation of the sales price lists and distribution to the dealer organisation in Germany. In addition to a database design, structures were implemented during the system development that make the price module "ready for cloud".
