Encouraging student developer spirit!
ServiceXpert, in its role of jury presidency, provides the current task of the student competition HARD & SOFT 2023 in Suceava.
From 14 to 21 May 2023, the University Stefan cel Mare in Suceava, Romania, will host the 28th International Computer Contest for students of computer hardware and software development. ServiceXpert has been a sponsor and part of the jury for over a decade. This year, for the second time, the team of the engineering specialist provides the jury president as well as two jury members. In this function, ServiceXpert also decisively defines this year's task, which must be implemented by the students within one week.
HARD & SOFT Suceava is a competition for bachelor's / master's students of computer hardware and software development, electronics and automation who are about to graduate. The students work in teams of four on a given task and have to present their solutions to the jury after five days. The jury will select the winning teams in various categories.
Nicolae Foica, jury president and long-time team member of ServiceXpert, is looking forward to this year's task: "I have known the contest for many years as a jury member and I am very happy to accompany the contest again this year as jury president. This year's task once again demands extraordinary creativity, innovative thinking and sustainability from the students in their solutions."
The competition task is closely related to current challenges and focuses on areas of computer engineering and information and communication technology (ICT) that require a close link between hardware and software, and demands creative solution thinking.
A full specification of the task will be announced on the first day of the competition.
