The electrification of vehicles - regardless of their size or the respective range of applications (on-road or non-road) - plays a decisive role in future mobility. Alongside developments to optimise battery capacities or to generate energy, for example by means of fuel cells, innovative charging concepts are needed, particularly in the passenger car sector. Future charging concepts must not only provide comfort for the end user, but also fulfil comprehensive safety aspects for the vehicle and the environment during charging.
Requirements for sustainable charging systems
Sound expertise in automotive software development for embedded systems with comprehensive AUTOSAR knowledge is indispensable for the development of an inductive, bidirectional charging system for electric vehicles as an innovative technology that can be fitted to autonomous or partially autonomous vehicles in the future. Our AUTOSAR competence team is already working successfully on these concepts in cooperation with a major supplier and has already been able to implement this charging technology as a prototype.

Safety in accordance with ISO 26262
ISO 26262 safety requirements are also relevant in the development of high-voltage systems. In order to check product safety information and documents with regard to fulfilling the requirements, test coverage and plausibility, comprehensive experience in (overall) systems development and testing is required.
